Hannekenfähr a nice place to stay

The route along the DEK is really good to cycle on. A few years ago, the original route along the Dortmund Ems Canal in the Lingen area was still on gravel roads that were called cycle paths. Hanekenfähr (older spellings also Hanneken- or Haneckenfähr) is an area on the Ems River between Lingen (Schepsdorf and Darme) and Emsbüren (Elbergen) in the Emsland district.
