From here you can enjoy a sweeping view of the Allgäu main ridge, whose peaks and ridges stand out like a jagged line on the horizon. On clear days, you can easily distinguish the distinctive mountains from one another and trace their course across the valley. An ideal panoramic stop to breathe in the fresh air, take photos, and marvel at the Allgäu Alps.

At the summit of the Riedberger Horn, you can enjoy a sweeping panoramic view across the Nagelfluhkette mountain range, the Allgäu Alps, and down to Grasgehren. On a clear day, the panorama extends as far as the Ifen mountain and deep into the Alpine foothills. A perfect spot for a longer break, a summit photo, and a few minutes of pure summit bliss.

Not quite as well known as the surrounding peaks, so a little quieter but absolutely worth it. Can be reached via mostly rooty paths.

In winter there is often a lot of snow in the valley below the Horn. The winter hiking trail should have been felt, but I walked through snow drifts that were sometimes 50 cm deep. A real winter hike.
