デックスハイムの湖・トップ20

これは、1990年に自然保護区に指定された、ウンデンハイムとハンハイムの自治体間の54ヘクタールの地域です。セルツ川の自然な流れと、広大なヨシ原、カヤツリグサ科の草地、湿った牧草地、湿った農地を含むセルツ川の低地を包含しています。ヨシゴイ、ヨシノジ、ハイイロチュウヒ、シギなどの40種以上の鳥類が再びそこで繁殖しています。鳥類保護区の一部として、ヨーロッパ全土でFFH生息地を結びつけ、希少な動物種の移動、拡散、遺伝子交流を可能にする保護区ネットワークであるNATURA 2000の管轄下にあります。

The Große Lache lake in the Kühkopf-Knoblochsaue nature reserve is a true highlight for nature lovers. Located in the heart of Hesse's largest nature reserve, it is especially popular with cyclists and hikers. The landscape is characterized by riparian forests, meadows, and old branches of the Rhine – a paradise for birds, wildlife, and anyone seeking tranquility.

OK, anyone who knows this area from before will be really amazed at the positive changes in recent years. I think an ecosystem that is unique in the region has been created here. All kinds of different birds stay here all year round. But even for non-ornithologists and landscape enthusiasts, a worthwhile and varied section has been created here, which I personally always like to include in my running and cycling routes. For years I have also been getting water for exercise from a trough there, although as I recently found out, it is a Kneipp cure trough :-).

A paradise for cyclists and hikers. 👍

The scenery is wonderful. The cycle path still needs to be improved.

In the meantime, the food has improved somewhat, and word has apparently gotten around, as the anglers' home is being visited again.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has reduced the scope of the offer and the quality of the food so much that I can no longer recommend the food there - a shame.
