Seehof Castle is always worth a visit

The highlight of the Streitburg is the well-preserved dungeon. The views of Steitberg are also fantastic, a worthwhile excursion and hiking destination.

The view over Streitberg and the Wiesent valley from the Streitberg castle ruins, a remnant of a high medieval aristocratic castle, is simply magnificent.

For the first time in winter I walked from Giechburg to Gügel in snow. In some places the path was slippery and icy, but overall easy to walk. And the view is fantastic!

The Giechburg is one of the most famous excursion destinations in the Bamberg district. There are several ways to climb the castle, such as mountain biking, hiking or driving up directly with your car. When you get to the top of the Giechburg you have a beautiful all-round view. Just beautiful 🤩. The restaurants have very good food and the prices are okay.
