The cycle path runs mainly on water-bound paths, with occasional longer sections being asphalted. The surface is in good condition and is very easy to ride on.

This bridge is truly a force to be reckoned with and a masterpiece of its time. I was really surprised when I drove over this bridge.

Hoi Bridge The most impressive structure on the entire Amberg – Lauterhofen railway line is certainly the five-arched Hoi Bridge, a masterpiece of railway engineering at the time. It was built in 1902/03, mainly by Italian and Croatian construction workers. The bridge is 82 meters long, 3.70 meters wide, 18 meters high and has four pillars made of local stone. It was renovated in 1995/1996 and since then a cycle path and a cross-country ski trail have run over it in winter. The renovated bridge is the pearl of the Schweppermann cycle path.
