Only a few cars are allowed to park at the wine market now, and the pedestrian zone from the town hall to the Schrannenplatz has been repaved. To the left of it is the former fish market, to the right the town hall and behind it the former Augustinian monastery with the inner courtyard of today's parish of St. John the Baptist.

The town hall in Memmingen is a multi-story Renaissance building from the 16th century. It sets a strong urban accent and closes off the market square to the northeast. It is one of the most famous buildings in Memmingen.

Another thing that is a matter of taste. The fishing day with the stream fishing on Saturday at 8 a.m. and the Friday night, which as a local you should have spent all night in the various pubs.
