A wonderful hiking trail that is very well signposted.

The Wendish Tower, or Serbska wěža in Sorbian, is part of Bautzen's medieval city fortifications. It is located on the northeastern edge of the old town and is now structurally connected to Gottfried Semper's Old Barracks (Stara kaserna). Very tasty, always worth a visit

Obercunnersdorf is a beautiful place. So many beautiful, old half-timbered houses, packed together, wind along the route. It's a must-see and a must-see. 😌

great cycle path on the former railway line

Because Oppach has set different priorities regarding landscape and trail design, the cycle path breaks off along the former railway line at the Buschmühle in Beiersdorf, on the border with Oppach. We recommend keeping left toward the Jägerhaus. Still in the forest, at the clearing, turn right toward Oppach Jägerhaus, or left toward Beiersdorf Tannenhof (visible after 200 meters on the left behind the meadows), or right again toward Neusalza-Spremberg. There you'll meet the Spree Cycle Path.
