The Feldberghaus is a cozy inn with a rustic wooden facade. It offers traditional inn culture and timeless cuisine at the highest level. The beer garden is a popular meeting place for hikers and day-trippers who want to recharge their batteries after a hike and enjoy the breathtaking view of Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main plain.

A very nice little restaurant. Worthwhile

Up here there are legendary rocks and fairytale forests, hawks, eagles and other forest animals live here. Our FELDBERGHAUS is the rebirth and reinterpretation of the original restaurant from 1860. The rustic wooden facade conveys the hospitable atmosphere of the inside to the outside. It builds a bridge to the present – and to the future.

Whether alpine, I don't really know, there was a cappuccino for 3.40

Update 2023: cake is meager. Warm dishes much better, but expensive. Good alternative with delicious food (no cake): Tannenheim am Sandplacken

Beautiful new edition of the Feldberghaus. The kiosk is ideal for a quick snack. Unfortunately, during the cold months, there is limited seating in the area of the fast food restaurant, so you have to switch to the restaurant in the upper area. Sunday brunch is offered in the restaurant for €40 (as of November 2022).

Nicely made, but a bit more expensive!

I don't know the old Feldberghaus, but I think it's recommended. The portions are not huge, but the quality is great. There are also "small" dishes for normal prices that are also filling. The view is great and if you can sit outside - both because of the space and the temperatures - you can watch a free falcon show every now and then 😁 If it gets too crowded: there are two kiosks a stone's throw away.
