The view is worth a visit, and a nice short S2 starts right at the hut 🙋🏻♂️

In the refuge, on the 500 meter high Kuhkopf, there is even a Wetterau »summit book« 😂 And a short but crisp S2 + trail Trail directly from the hut

Great location for a stop on the hiking tour. It can get pretty crowded here on weekends.
