In the quiet village of Frankenmarkt you will find a good selection of restaurants and accommodation. In the middle is the parish church of St. Nicholas in Gothic-Baroque style. It was built in 1160 and expanded in 1384. In 2011, the sanctuary was redesigned to reveal some 16th-century frescoes. Next to the church is the Nativity scene museum with the 18th century palace nativity scene.
