This rest area is in excellent condition and is ideal for a rest. It is located in the Jägersief area, where the wet meadows (towards Perlenbachtal) transform into a sea of daffodils in early April.

The Perlenbach-Fuhrtsbach Valley System Nature Reserve is a 331-hectare nature reserve in the Aachen metropolitan region, characterized by its lowland fen vegetation and wet grassland fallows with sedge marshes and reed beds. It is located at an elevation of 465 to 615 m above sea level near Monschau, east of Kalterherberg and south of the village of Höfen, and thus belongs to the Monschau-Hellental forest plateau. The area encompasses the two valleys of the Perlenbach and Fuhrtsbach streams, each approximately five kilometers long and approximately 25 to 100 meters wide.
