Fancy a delicious drink, a small cocktail after a walk on the beach? You can enjoy it here, even if it's not particularly cheap.

There were already several piers before that, but they were mostly destroyed by storm surges or heavy ice. The owner of the first hotel ("Anastasia") in Graal-Müritz built a jetty in 1882 to offer his guests steamer connections to Warnemünde. A year later, in November 1883, the bridge was destroyed by a storm surge, as was the bridge that had subsequently been rebuilt. It was so badly damaged in the winter of 1890/1891 that it too had to be demolished. In 1905, a 320-meter-long jetty was financed by a private individual near the Stromgraben.

Be careful of the seagulls, they are cheeky and will take the bread roll directly from your hand, you can't even look and react that quickly 😉

Very nice well-kept beach with a great long pier

Beautiful beach, very wide, very fine sand, few pebbles, seaweed and hardly any nasty sharp-edged shells. No crazy sausage-drinking stalls on the promenade - very pleasant. A place to relax in summer and winter alike.

The Graal-Müritz pier is 350 meters long and was opened on April 10, 1993. It is a major attraction for every visitor to Graal-Müritz. From here, you can set sail on the MS Baltica. In the evenings, anglers often take possession of it.
