After hiking for miles through the forests of Ahlsburg, the Rotenkirchen hunting lodge suddenly offers a welcome change of scenery. Its history dates back to the 19th century.

The small Gieseberg forest parking area with a few parking spaces can be used well for hikes in the Ahlsburg.

Here, as well as at several other spots along the southern edge of the trail, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the valley. It's worth a visit any time of year.
