Beautiful rest area with a view

Entrance to the old Adolphstollen mine in the Zellwald forest. It's a bit of a trek to get there. A signpost points the way, but as you walk through the woods, the path becomes increasingly natural, making it difficult to follow. Info: The entrance is now closed by a new door. It's located below the pond dam, to the right of the stream.

Information: The Zellwald forest, or "Nemus Cellens," is first described in documents from Altzella Abbey in 1320. With its substantial 2006.7 hectares, it lies within the districts of Mittelsachsen and Meissen. 1434 hectares are designated as a nature reserve.
