Lt. Infotafel: Die Linde wurde im Jahr 1421 gepflanzt. Der Legende nach wurde sie verkehrt herum eingepflanzt - mit den Wurzeln nach oben und den Ästen nach unten. Ein Angeklagter hoffte dadurch auf ein Gottesurteil, um seine Unschuld zu beweisen, wenn sie dennoch erblüht. Heute ist die vitale Linde ein Naturdenkmal.

The path along the Zschopau River between Hennersdorf and Witzschdorf is known as the "Wasserrand" (waterside path). It was created around 1900 for tourism, as a destination for day trips and swimming, and the innkeeper from Witzschdorf would come down with his tray of wares. The last section between the weir and Witzschdorf is now closed due to its proximity to the railway line.

Interesting news for music lovers, especially organ enthusiasts: A large banner advertises a "360° musical experience." A new master console will allow six organs to be played simultaneously. A new organ is being built behind the altarpiece, and the bass pipes are apparently already installed under the gallery seats. The Jehmlich main organ will be restored by the end of 2026. We'll come back again then.
