The freestanding bell tower in Hohenzieritz belongs to the castle church (also known as a neoclassical round church) and is a listed historical monument. The bell dates from 1588, making it one of the oldest surviving bells in the Mecklenburg-Strelitz region. It was probably cast during the Renaissance and has survived the wars and upheavals of the centuries.

On a bike tour, a detour to the Blumenholz village church is worthwhile. This 18th-century half-timbered building received a brick wall with pointed arches on its south side around 1900. In the churchyard stands an open-plan belfry with two bells dating from 1710. The interior, in a simple white and gray Baroque style, surprises with a pulpit altar, boxes, a gallery, and simple pews—a quiet, worthwhile stop along the way.

The rectangular hall church was built in the mid-18th century as a half-timbered structure with brick bay windows. Around 1900, the south wall was replaced with a brick wall with pointed arches for the doors and windows. In the churchyard stands a freestanding belfry with two cast-iron bells dating from 1710. The interior of the flat-roofed church is dominated by a simple Baroque interior in white and gray, including a pulpit altar in the east, side boxes, a single-story west gallery, and simple pews.

The Hohenzieritz Village Church, also known as the Castle Chapel, is located in the district of the same name in the municipality of Blankensee. It was built in 1806 in the Neoclassical style according to designs by the master builder Friedrich Wilhelm Dunckelberg. The church is characterized by its circular central brick structure, a simple Doric portal, and a surrounding gallery inside. The dome was originally painted with coffered panels; today it is white. The church was re-consecrated in 1991 after renovation and is now an outstanding example of Neoclassical architecture in the region. It serves not only as a place of peace and contemplation, but is also a significant architectural gem nestled in the idyllic landscape of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
