Zeißig, Upper Sorbian. Ćisk is a village on the green in Upper Lusatia and is part of the recognized Sorbian settlement area. Zeißig was first mentioned in documents in 1248. The Zeißighof has been the cultural and recreational center of the village of Zeißig for many years.
