The Wendish Tower, or Serbska wěža in Sorbian, is part of Bautzen's medieval city fortifications. It is located on the northeastern edge of the old town and is now structurally connected to Gottfried Semper's Old Barracks (Stara kaserna). Whenever possible, we go to the beach. It's simply fantastic and the water is excellent. Highly recommended. We also feel at home at Hippo's Beach Bar. Good food and good value for money. Parking is €1 for two hours and €3 for the whole day. Keep it up, and it's unbeatable.
