The Danville L&N Railroad Bridge is a bridge that was originally built in the early 1860s by the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. The bridge has since been converted to a multi-use pathway across the Dan River.

Warren House and Warren's Store is a historic house and store in Prospect Hill, North Carolina. It was built in 1858 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. You can buy all kinds of snacks and goodies here, including some local BBQ; it's a great place to stop as you ride around the area.

Quail Roost Lake Number One is a small lake right off of Wilkerson Road. This is a peaceful spot to ride past as you explore the area. Be on the lookout for turtles and other animals in the spring as they cross the road to lay their eggs and travel to one of the many other ponds in the area.

Located on the Roanoke River, this area is made up of rolling fields that are home to diverse wildlife. You may spot bald eagles in the skies. They're known to overwinter here. During the colder months, huge numbers of ducks and geese gather in the wetlands along the river, whilst in summer, beavers are busy building their dams.

Kerr Lake is a huge reservoir and one of the best fishing lakes in the eastern US. There are trails for hiking and you can swim and paddleboard on the water. If you want to stay the night, you can park an RV or camp at the Kerr Lake State Recreation Area.
