At 302 meters high, the chimney, colloquially known as the "Lulatsch," is arguably the tallest work of art in the world. The 18,000-square-meter outer shell of the combined heat and power plant chimney was designed by French artist Daniel Buren, who envisioned seven roughly equal-sized colored sections.
