The Mirador de los Cronistas de España is also known as the Mirador de la Plaza de la Iglesia. It is located in the Alicante and Mediterranean town of Altea. Between 24 and 27 October 2002, the XXVIII National Congress of the Royal Spanish Association of Official Chroniclers took place in Altea. Altea is a Mediterranean coastal town with almost 23,000 inhabitants in the province of Alicante in the autonomous Valencian Community on the Costa Blanca in eastern Spain.
