The town of Altea has a very particular charm and I do not know anyone who has not visited it and fallen in love with this picturesque town. Its streets, stairways, the views, the people, the environment and the atmosphere that surrounds it make a magnificent combo worthy of a place not to be missed. Altea has it all!

Between the sea and the mountains is a small paradise on the Costa Blanca, the beautiful destination of Altea. A town that transmits calm and where time seems to stand still.
In Altea there are two areas: one on the shores of the Mediterranean and, on the other, the old town. If we delve into its narrow, cobbled streets, we will gradually leave aside the white houses full of colorful flowers and make way for hidden corners and viewpoints, until we reach the church of Nuestra Señora del Consuelo. An iconic old town that breathes history marked by the Muslims.

The streets in the old town area around Iglesia parroquial de Nuestra Señora del Consuelo exude a special atmosphere. The white houses, the narrow streets and the large differences in height can be climbed via a steep path or stairs, but once near the church you are at the highest point and you can look up the many miradors with a view over the whole area. Altea is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
