タサコルテのおすすめウォーキング＆ハイキングルート

I can't recommend this route; it's quite adventurous in places, as the concrete slabs are broken and you sometimes have to climb over a thick irrigation pipe. It's unsuitable for children or people who aren't very fit! The scenery isn't attractive either, with a lot of trash and especially empty bags and canisters of fertilizer or other chemical pesticides lying around. It completely put me off bananas.

A pleasant harbor for yachts and excursion boats, some of which also depart from here for whale watching. You can stroll along the breakwater wall for free and enjoy the view of land and sea!

The beach is located right in Puerto de Tazacorte, with all its restaurants. Water and black lava sand—what more could you want? At the northern end, the water is protected from the surf by a breakwater (or was it once a pier?). All in all, quite nice ☺

A tour of Tazacorte

Tazacorte has spruced itself up. Cars still dominate the downtown area, but the bright and colorful houses and their restaurants have brought a lot of change. It's worth it!

One of the few sandy beaches (black sand) on La Palma. There are a few taverns, nothing particularly outstanding, but enough for a beer or a coffee. The scenery is beautiful, the harbor pier less so. The sunset at this spot is absolutely worth seeing – the light and colors are impressive – and that alone makes the visit worthwhile.
