If you follow the Du bocage au marais circuit, you can turn off here for a detour past the source of the Yser on the Haeneberg in Lederzele.

The purpose of this work is to question the future of the planet. Will certain activities contribute to its degradation, to the point of undermining human well-being and the good life? This sculpture invites us to mobilize, just like people everywhere. We have borrowed this planet from our children, and we owe it to them to give it back so they can live there in good health.

The Barrière Flamande is a gate whose top beam, which holds the entire gate together, is made from a single piece of wood, with the stump acting as a counterweight. Well-balanced on its pivot point, this gate opens effortlessly.

"GIVING A SECOND LIFE TO THE PROPELLER OF FRANK FAZEKAS' AIRPLANE" This is the project of the Plaisir de Lire association, which is creating a work of art based on the airplane propeller. This work was created by fifteen volunteers, with the help of Aymeric Caulay, an artist from the CLEA (Local Contract for Artistic Education), initiated by the CCFI. The town hall supported and encouraged this initiative. This work is located near the municipal pond at the entrance to the new cemetery in Buysscheure.
