Very beautiful area, unfortunately we were there in winter, but I will definitely go again, including a coffee break 😉

The bench is in the shade and offers a view over the fields. Far in the distance is the former mill.

A wooden cross, approximately 3 meters tall, stands here on a raised meadow near Vierer Weg. From here, you have a wonderful view over Lake Schmalensee.

The path runs far above the lake, so you can enjoy a beautiful view over the water.

The path directly along the Perdoel estate to the bridge over the Alte Schwentine is private and closed. The lord of the manor does not like hikers using this path.

The riverside path through the mixed forest is very pleasant to walk on. The proximity to the riverbank is barely noticeable in summer, as the undergrowth almost completely blocks the view. The large oak trees are striking, indicating the path's great age.

The small bathing area by the striking twin oak trees can only serve as a dog bathing area. It's far too shady and has no convenient entry/exit point; you're more likely to walk through the vegetation. I'm offering this tip with the note that there are large, beautiful designated bathing areas with sandy beaches or grassy meadows to the north and south.
