This impressive tower can be seen from far away

The historic building was destroyed in the Napoleonic Wars. What stands here today is a reconstruction. There is a small chapel in the Hermitage building. You can get the key for this from the Räzebore Cultural Association. You can also organize free guided tours through the association. Only the exposed foundation walls of the Maria Reizenborn pilgrimage church remain. However, some wooden benches give a good impression of the dimensions. And there is also a story about this place of pilgrimage. A pilgrimage route to Spain led here. Many pilgrims took a break at the spring, including a mother with her sick child. The water from the spring is said to have healed the child and the child's father then built a chapel at the site in gratitude.
