At the Ellerspring trekking site you camp at the highest elevation in the Soonwald at 657 meters. The trekking site is hidden in a small clearing on the Soonwaldsteig. There is even a fireplace here for a cozy campfire in the evening. However, after one night you have to move on. You can make a booking online here, where you can also find the prices and booking period: web4.deskline.net/nahelandcamping/de/accommodation/list

You bring your own drinking water and toilet paper for the composting toilet. It goes without saying that you take all your rubbish back with you from the forest. ;)

The Ellerspring trekking site is located on the Soonwaldsteig trail and allows (after booking) camping in the nature reserve.
In a small clearing there are several numbered tent pitches cuddled with wood chips.
There is also a common fireplace and a composting toilet.
Some blackberry bushes provide a source of vitamins in summer; o)

You can book a place for € 10 through the Nahe Tourist Board. A maximum of 5 small and 1 large tent per night are allowed on the pitch. Don't just put up your tent without being asked, the forester could come to check.
