The Rogätz ferry costs 2.50 euros for one person with a bicycle. It runs from May to September, Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The ferry has a lunch break from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. The last crossing before the break is at 11:45 a.m. You can find more information at: http://www.faehre-rogaetz.de/

An impressive double lock, it closes the eastern section of the Mittelland Canal to the east and serves to overcome the different water levels between the Mittelland Canal and the Elbe-Havel Canal, which begins 200 m further east.
