      The Hochobir (2139 m), a magnificent mountain massif of the Karawanken Mountains, is one of Carinthia's most beautiful panoramic mountains. The view from the summit takes you in all directions, with overwhelming views of the fascinating mountains and the surrounding valley, river and lake landscapes.

      Due to the fascinating diversity of flora and fauna, the Hochobir has long been a magnet for hikers and scientists alike. From all directions, nine beautiful, well signposted and marked trails lead to the mighty summit.
