    Louds Cabin was built in 1902 by Colorado College Professor Frank Herbert Loud, the first head of the mathematics department. Although most of the wooden walls and roof of the cabin have collapsed, the 8 foot still stone chimney stands tall and is a prominent feature in the landscape.
