The Bühler Peace Cross stands on a small hill between Buehl and Ottersweier and is a symbol of German-French reconciliation and a memorial to peace in the world. It is 14 m high and was inaugurated in 1952. The building material comes partly from the French Maginot defense line and the German west wall.
The Peace Cross is the starting point of the Ortenauer Peace Pilgrimage.
