The largest of the artificial lakes in the Val d'Ultimo. Along the lake there is the traditional sheep market which takes place after the transhumance. Fun fact: under the lake lie 12 masi (mountain houses) which were flooded during the construction of the hydroelectric plant and the simultaneous creation of the artificial lake.

If you are cycling, you should switch to the much nicer path on the south side of the lake.
