The old town of the medieval town of Berching is absolutely worth seeing. Located in the Altmühltal Nature Park, it is on the banks of the Main - Danube Canal and the historic Ludwig - Danube - Main Canal. The still completely preserved defensive wall with its defensive towers is wonderful.
