The Romanesque church of Sant Serni de Coborriu appears documented at the end of the 10th century in the consecration record of the Seu d'Urgell. The church was consecrated under the invocation of san Serni by the bishop of Urgell Pere Berenguer in 1137, nine years later he made the act of Dotalia, constituting it at the head of the parish and endowing it with the church of Vilavedra. On the occasion of a plague of plague, this last population was lost. In 1198 he was sacked by the Albigensians who took away three books, the priest's clothes and all the ornaments.

The fire also suffered in 1793 by the French troops. The last desecration he suffered was during the Spanish Civil War in 1936, leaving it abandoned until its restoration in 1967.

Small Romanesque church located on a plateau with open views of the Cadí and the Segre valley. It retains its original structure and exudes a beautiful simplicity, surrounded by meadows and silence. It is a perfect place to take a break and feel the calm of the mountain. By mountain bike, access is by track with some rocky sections but without excessive difficulty. Tip: take the opportunity to have a drink or take a photo before facing the next climb; the morning light here is especially beautiful.
