Good surfing beach down the cliffs at the west end of Leo Carillo State park, which protects the entire 10 mile zone up to the county line between LA and Santa Barbara counties, with a few small isolated beach house developments in between. The Neptun's Net Restaurant and beer garden is a favorite watering hole for hikers and (motor)bikers.

Ventural County line is also a legendary part of the Beach Boy's song "Surfin' in the USA"
