The Costaccia refuge, thanks to its tradition, its culinary proposal and the family atmosphere is a true historical institution of Livigno. It is divided into two floors; The ground floor has the sandwich bar and the restaurant is upstairs. Outside there is a large terrace with barbecue, real attraction of the restaurant, where polenta is cooked in an old pot, as in the past. The restaurant offers revisited traditional cuisine, where log fires combine the refined dishes presentation. On the menu: pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, livigno dumplings, grilled meat, homemade desserts such as the biscuit waffle with ice cream and wild berries or the fresh ricotta with blueberries. Do not miss the specialty of the refuge: deer milk in the bucket, or rather, the blueberry grappa poured with a scoop. In front of the cottage there is a large flat area used as sun terrace, with a unique view on valley of Livigno.
