The Klagenfurter Hut is one of the most beautiful destinations for mountaineers and hikers in the Karawanks. The hut is surrounded by numerous peaks and therefore serves as a starting point for climbing them. It is in a picturesque location on the Matschacher Alm at an altitude of 1,663 m.
