The AMAZONE, built in 1909, is a gaff-rigged ketch and equipped with two leeboards. The 24-meter-long, two-masted ship, based in Hamburg, is operated by the non-profit organization Bildungswerk Nordseewatten (North Sea Watts Education Center) for adventure trips and educational events.

LANDRATH KÜSTER (HF 231) – A proud, historic ocean-going cutter, built in 1889 in Cranz near Hamburg. For more than 80 years, it fished under sail on the North and Baltic Seas – and was equipped with a unique hull for transporting the catch live. After being decommissioned in 1970, it was lovingly restored (1991–1996) and today sails again under its original name from Finkenwerder.
The LONA is a Dutch flat-bottomed boat, as can be seen from the keelboards on its sides.
