There is a lot to discover in Kremsmünster Abbey. For example a baroque garden house, a fish farm or the library. The Mathematical Tower is particularly interesting because it is unusual: It is considered the first European skyscraper and was built as an observatory. Its construction was very difficult to implement at that time, everything was designed for optimal observation of the universe. The monastery, where monks still live, can be visited and is therefore a great stage destination on any tour.
