Traversed by the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail, it offers an immersive backcountry experience within the Daniel Boone National Forest. The area features dense hardwood forest blanketing the hills, with minimal developed facilities. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and various bird species.
