Lake Weissensee near Füssen is an idyllic bathing lake, nestled amidst a hilly landscape with meadows, forests, and stunning views of the Allgäu Alps. Thanks to its excellent water quality, it's a popular destination for swimming and relaxation in the summer. The lake is largely a protected landscape and has thus retained its natural, tranquil character. Along the route, there are numerous access points to the water, small bays, and beautiful viewpoints. The contrast between the idyllic shoreline and the views of the surrounding mountains is particularly charming.
