The descent from the Gundhütte to Vilstalsäge is wonderful, mostly S1 with places S2, always (evenly) steep and relatively straightforward. There are two variants, the western one more forest run with roots and the eastern one more rocky gutter (similar to stream bed). In the lower part, both runs unite to form a gully. There are no major steps or jumps, but quite roots and the descent is very earthy, so only recommended in dry conditions. In addition - as always - please pay attention to oncoming hikers!
