The village of Ivanovskoye was the patrimony of the princes Prozorovsky since the 17th century, who owned it for 185 years. The village was initially a palace, in 1624 it was granted by Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich to the boyar, Prince Semyon Vasilyevich Prozorovsky "for the Tikhvin siege", that is, for the defense of the city of Tikhvin and the Tikhvin Monastery from the Swedes in 1613. In the most difficult time for Russia, the prince bravely defended it, in 1617 he repelled the Polish army from Dorogobuzh, in 1616 and 1618 he was a siege governor in Moscow, a governor in Ryazan, Astrakhan, Vyazma, Putivl. The prince died in 1660, having taken monastic vows in the Tikhvin Assumption Monastery of the Mother of God before his death. The village passed to his son, the boyar, Prince Pyotr Semenovich Menshoy Prozorovsky. After him, the village was owned by his son, the boyar, Prince Nikita Petrovich Prozorovsky, married to Princess Maria Mikhailovna Golitsyna. He was succeeded by his son, Prince Alexander Nikitich. He was the father of the next owner, Field Marshal General, Prince Alexander Alexandrovich Prozorovsky (1732-1809), who took part in the Seven Years' War, and during the Russo-Turkish War of 1768-1774 - in the conquest of Crimea, from 1780 he governed the Oryol-Kursk viceroyalty, from 1790 he was appointed commander-in-chief in Moscow and a senator. During the new Russo-Turkish War, which began in 1808, the prince, appointed commander-in-chief of the army, already very ill, died in his camp. He began construction of the currently existing stone church in honor of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God.
