The Esterli Tower is a reinforced concrete observation tower south of Lenzburg.
Situation
The tower, built in 1974, is made up of 19 concrete pipe elements, each 2.50 meters high, and has a total height of 48 meters. The observation platform, 45 meters high, is accessible via a staircase inside the tower with 253 steps. 18 slightly offset narrow windows provide lighting. This tower is not the first at this location. The first Esterli Tower was built from wood in 1906. Hiking trails lead from Egliswil to the observation tower in about 15 - 20 minutes.
