Czarnów is inextricably linked to the village of Kąty (Konty). Until the 1850s, the Czarnów farm was part of the Kąty (Konty) estate. In the first half of the 19th century, two manors were built on opposite ends of the village of Kąty for two Czarnecki brothers. The manor in the western part of the village belonged to Witold Czarnecki and the eastern part to his brother. In the mid-19th century, the village of Konty was divided. The western part was named Kąty and the eastern part Czarnów. According to the Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland, in 1882 the village and farm of Kąty had 14 houses and 283 inhabitants. The same Dictionary states that in 1880: "Czarnów - a grange, Gostynin district, Pacyna commune and parish, separated from the Kąty pod Pacyną estate, on an area of 410 morgas, including 215 morgas of arable and horticultural land, 160 morgas of meadows, 32 morgas of pastures, 2 morgas of water, 11 morgas of wasteland and squares, 4 brick buildings, 8 wooden buildings, 2 ponds, Przysowa canal between meadows with peat deposits.".
According to the Catalog of Art Monuments in Poland, the Czarnów manor house was built in 1882, probably for the Łęczyński family.
In 1930, it belonged to Teodor Kozłowski.
After the end of World War II, the manor house was inhabited by people who received plots of land from the agricultural reform. They stayed in the palace until 1947. The manor and palace complex was taken over by the Health Service - Psychiatric Hospital in Gostynin, where a ward for the mentally ill was established, which was renamed the "State Institution for the Mentally Retarded for Work". Currently, the District Social Welfare Home is located there. (Jarosław Bochyński)
Currently, the District Social Welfare Home is located there. The house and park are in very good condition. The facility is inaccessible, poorly visible from a distance.
