The Pulverhäuschen (Powder House) is a historic building that was once used to store explosives. The explosives stored there were used to clear ice drifts and ice barriers on the Mulde River.

The building is constructed of irregular rubble masonry and is roofed with a pointed barrel vault. The local stones at the corners, the cornice at the base, the projecting eaves cornices, and the two rows of covers are made of red bricks. The exterior surface of the barrel vault is plastered.
