Enns is considered the oldest town in Austria. Very pretty, nice to walk around and have a meal at the main square.

The town of Enns is considered Austria's oldest town and boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times. The town square, with its 60-meter-high town tower from the 16th century, is the visible centerpiece, surrounded by historic town houses, the Baroque Marienbrunnen fountain, and numerous cafés with cozy outdoor seating.Enns combines medieval flair with modern quality of life and is today an attractive place for culture, events, and enjoyable breaks – especially for cyclists traveling along the Enns Cycle Path or the Danube Cycle Path. Benches, bike parking, and regional restaurants invite you to linger.
