Everywhere the swampy land is drained by canals. The water is warm from the hot springs and in winter clouds of mist rise up. It "smells" a bit (of sulphur?). At the foot of the monastery hill you have to improvise a bit. The gate was locked. The descent I chose from the Benedictine monastery is dangerous and not recommended! There are a few steps on the steep slope, however.
