    St. Margaretha

The branch church was built in the first half of the 18th century. The hall building, which faces east, consists of a three-bay nave and a recessed, single-bay choir with a semicircular apse in the ground plan. The exterior is structured primarily by so-called bass violin windows, which indicate that Johann Georg Hirschstötter, the Landshut court master mason who was in office at the time of construction, was the architect.
A two-story sacristy is attached to the south of the choir. The ground floor of the projecting west tower also serves as a vestibule and contains the only church portal. The tower is built on an almost square ground plan and is structured by corner pilasters. It contains the tower clock with four dials, the bell cage and a round-arched sound opening on each side. Since the end of the 19th century, the upper part has been formed by an eight-sided pointed helmet over four triangular gables.
Inside, the nave and choir are covered by a flat barrel vault with pointed arches, which is decorated with ceiling paintings. The choir end in the form of an apse is vaulted by a half-dome. The walls are divided by flat pilasters with multi-profiled capitals. These can also be found on the basket-arched choir arch.
The Rococo high altar dates from the time when the church was built. Its structure is supported by four pilasters and two twisted columns. On the altarpiece, Saint Mary is depicted as the Queen of Heaven, surrounded by numerous saints and hosts of angels. In the altarpiece there is a dove of the Holy Spirit, which is cleverly illuminated by the window behind it in the apex of the choir. The tabernacle, decorated with numerous volutes, contains a figure of the Risen Christ in a niche; on top, the Lamb of God sits enthroned on the book with the seven seals.
The two side altars are baroque and were probably built at the end of the 17th century. Their structure is supported by two twisted columns; the extension is designed with a broken gable and shell top. In place of the altarpieces are figures of Saints Wolfgang (left) and Anna.

Also worth mentioning is the group of figures of Anna-Selbdritt, which is attached to the southern nave wall. The organ of the Expositurkirche Mariä Heimsuchung was created in 1955 by Friedrich Meier from Plattling.
