The "Villa Hartungen" in Ulten was the summer residence of Dr. Christoph Hartung von Hartungen (1849-1917), who had the Art Nouveau villa built entirely of timber in 1903 on the sunny slope of the valley with sweeping views of the Ortler Mountains.
